Poor Sasha has to fast for the next 24 hours, which is going to be difficult because she is food crazy! We go for more X-rays tomorrow and hope that there's really not a tumor on her spleen. Four slipped disks aren't really great, but better than a tumor. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. If it turns out to be a tumor, she'll need to have her spleen removed right away. I'll post more after her appointment tomorrow.
I live with three crazy little dogs; Sasha, Cercei and Mel, who are the absolute joys of my life. Since I do not support the practice of puppy mills, one of my dogs is from a private breeder and the other two are rescues. I hope by sharing my experiences and tips, it will help someone's life (human or dog) and if nothing else... entertain. I am not an expert, just someone who's learned a lot through trial and error. Please consult with your vet for serious medical concerns. As with anything, please do your research and not simply rely on one person's opinion. I hope you enjoy! :)
